


Look guys!!! I had some ripe bananas on hand I didn’t see myself eating so I figured why not make some banana bread?? I ransacked the internet for recipes that had no baking soda and found one that worked oh so wonderfully! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t expect much as to not get my hopes up because I wasn’t sure if it the bread would rise without baking soda, but it worked!!! And thank goodness the author included a section that provided variations for toppings because the cinnamon sugar crunch caught my eye. No ones knows this but I am a sucker for Panera breads cinnamon sugar bagels 😩 paired with the honey walnut cream cheese mmm. Anyways here is my baby I’m so proud of her

What’s creating the rise? Standard ingredients minus chemical leavener should make a brick.
No baking soda? Still looks perfectly fluffy .. amazing!
