  1. Please be careful microwaving any part of an egg though. Lots of steam and can have serious burn risks and cleaning exploded egg out of a microwave is a chore I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I microwave them 10 seconds at a time until done. You’ll also want to soak/clean the container you cooked them in right away or they will stick like crazy.

  2. I never would have microwaved an egg until I stayed with my sister for a couple weeks and saw her microwaving eggs for her daughter’s quick and easy breakfast. I tried it and now I’m hooked!

    A heads up for people who like to eat the whole egg, scramble lightly with a fork before microwaving and it cooks up just as light and fluffy as an egg white alone!
