General reminder to everyone: pancake is a broad umbrella term. Leavened pancakes, made globally popular by Americans, are a type of pancake, and crepes are a type of pancake. Both are referred to simply as “pancakes” depending on where you are in the world. These are the Northern and Eastern European unleavened pancake, thus being closer to crepes. They are correctly named here, just as an American pancake would be. Neither is wrong.
