    Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls Recipe
    Ingredients:

1 pound bulk breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken)

1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls

2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (or use cheddar cheese for added flavor)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it lightly with non-stick cooking spray.

    2. Cook the Sausage:

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bulk sausage. Use a spatula to break the sausage into crumbles as it cooks. Cook until the sausage is browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Once fully cooked, remove the skillet from heat and drain any excess fat if necessary. Allow the sausage to cool slightly.

    3. Combine Ingredients:

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with the shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheddar if you prefer). Mix well to ensure the cheese is evenly incorporated with the sausage.

    4. Prepare the Crescent Rolls:

Open the refrigerated tube of crescent rolls and separate the dough into individual triangles following the perforated lines.

Lay each triangle on a clean surface or cutting board with the wide end facing you.

    5. Fill and Roll:

Take a generous spoonful of the sausage and cheese mixture and place it on the wide end of each crescent triangle. Be careful not to overfill, as this can make rolling difficult.

Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the dough up towards the pointed end, tucking in the edges as you go to help seal in the filling. Place the rolled crescents seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

    6. Bake:

Once all the crescent rolls are filled and placed on the baking sheet, put them in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

    7. Cool and Serve:

After baking, remove the crescent rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the ba
