I'm not a big fan of seafood but I'll have to admit this was mouthwateringly delicious, and the being served on a banana leaf enhanced the experience.

When I was in India as a kid I loved this dish! The restaurant we went to every night called me Mrs. Pomfret because I kept ordering it every day. (It was the only thing that wasn’t too spicy for a 5 year old 😀 )
You’ve got to try Malwan fish fry sometime. Its a subset of the Maharashtrian cuisine and it’s famous in Mumbai.
