I’m from Denmark, dark rye bread is the most common for lunch. Today I made it a bit more fancy looking for you guys, but that’s a pretty normal Danish lunch.

If you go out to eat there will be a lot more toppings and extra stuff. But at home this is the best I’ll do to treat myself.

•Ham with mayo and cucumber
•Cheese with bell pepper
•Smoked fillet with tomato and french (sweet) mustard.
•Marinated herring with onions (this is the very Scandinavian one, an acquired taste, but once you’re on board, you’ll never look back).

Some extra veggies because I like it.
