Someone was talking about seitan and I realized I hadn’t made my seitan sausage in a while.

Makes 8 sausages
.5 cups water
2 Tbs of olive oil
2 Tbs apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
4 teaspoons liquid aminos
260 grams vital wheat gluten
20 grams nutritional yeast
31 grams grated apple
1 Tb sage
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
.5 teaspoon paprika
.25 teaspoon black pepper
2 Tb sugar free maple syrup
120 grams pinto beans

Dries get mixed together, wets get blended together including the beans.

Separate into eight pieces, shape into a sausage. Roll TIGHTLY into parchment paper and then foil. Steam for 40 minutes. They do have all 9 essential amino acids
