Gutted. These are the best and are way more affordable than beyond/impossible/gardein.
They are good, not great.
My favorite vegan meatballs are Ikeas. They are great.

If you have an Aldi near you they have great Italian-style vegetarian meatballs.

I like the aldi ones a lot more, should try them if you have them around you.

They actually got discontinued a while ago too, and then came back and we’re totally different. There were so much better the first time around. Sad to hear they’ve been discontinued again, they were still pretty good.
That’s not really how Trader Joe’s works. Most of their products are rebranded from smaller producers they bullied into an unsustainable, exploitative distribution deal. The great thing is, you won’t know where to look for it when that producer finally cuts ties with Trader Joe’s.
What?? I just got these for the first time and was blown away. They were delicious!
Aldi has “dupes” of these and a lot of Aldis use the same manufacturers as Trader Joe’s (i think the owners are related and there was a “feud” between cousins or something – but i’m not 100% sure about all that) but i’m pretty confident the aldi ones are suuuuper similar!
I still bummer they discontinued the previous version, which I preferred to this iteration.
These were only ok. The older ones were superior.
