


We had a bunch of homegrown tomatoes to use up so my mom decided to make tomato sauce/puree. It's quite flavorful by itself so I only added a few herbs, some pepper, a clove of garlic and a tablespoon of vegeta liquid seasoning (shout out to all the eastern europeans 🫶 ). I added about a cup of water and then let the pasta cook in the sauce. After a few minutes I tossed in cubed grilled turkey breast and broccoli I had in the freezer and let it simmer. I left it on the stove until the pasta was cooked and the sauce thickened. It smelled delightful and tasted even better
