  1. One day at a time, tomorrow you get back on track, no big deal, as long as the progress is made

  2. That was also me today 🙃 started great and ended up eating steak and crab and chocolate cake with my father in law.
It’s just like that sometimes. 80/20 mindset. You have to enjoy your life too!

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the best things in life, like a delicious meal out with people you care about. No guilt needed. 1500isplenty is not about perfection, it’s about consistency. I hope it was a wonderful experience. ❤️

I’ve just quit smoking, so I let myself eat like garbage the past 3 days. Between the recent changes of quitting smoking, drinking, and watching my calories, the one I was willing to ease up on to deal with cravings was the diet.

Back on the horse tomorrow. No guilt needed. We’re human. Losing the weight isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon (or whatever that saying is). Just shrug it off, revel in the enjoyment of having a nice cheat meal, and move right along like nothing happened.

If you get back on track, your Weekly Average is still 1,585.

一口吃不成胖子 (Yì kǒu chī bù chénɡ pànɡzi)

One meal won’t make a fat man.

Rome was not built in one day.

It takes time, effort, and consistency to get things done, not just an action done once.

Hell yeah dude. Enjoy your nice dinner out.

Food is good and tasty! Feeling guilty over eating food is not our goal. You don’t “fail” any of this by having a nice meal with people you love, that’s just not how it works! Guilt over food is a common track to eating disorders. Ask me how I know.

Like others said, just maintain your TDEE most days. I take every Saturday off for D&D night, because I love meals with my friends.

  8. Hey, me too!!

    So Worth it!

Still down 100 lb…maybe 98/99 after this week. I’ll recover.

  9. Don’t worry about it! It’s all good stuff, and we all get to go full-on from time to time.

    I’ll bet it was *great*.

I’m going out to celebrate my birthday tonight with a friend! I’m not going to restrict myself throughout the day for one dinner. I’m going to celebrate and enjoy my time with my friend! I’ll eat till I’m full and get what I want not what’s the lowest calories because I know I can just get back on my counting tomorrow! This isn’t an every other day thing it’s a nice treat. Tbh a big meal like this normally flushes everything out (IM SO SORRY TMI) so it’s a win win in my book.

If you stay on track your allowed dinners out is my rule that’s the motivation to stay on track 90% of the time, cause your diet doesn’t control your life there’s gonna be date nights, friend dinners, birthdays, weddings, holidays ect and that’s okay! You’re supposed to enjoy them.

I fucking love Korean bbq, I got 1-2 times a week while maintaining 1500 a day.

To do this I eat 1200 5x a week and 2250 2x. I actually go on both low and high days. On low days (I go alone) and get just bulgogi and spicy chicken. It usually ends up being around 1200-1400 calories (I only eat small snacks the rest of the day, like pickles).

On big days I eat to my hearts content and eat around 1800-2000 calories. With some minor adjustments on other days, it all works out to 1500 average.

This way I am able to have my favorite food, regularly. I never build up craving because of this.

  13. If you want your weight loss to be sustainable over the long term you need to be able to live your life and enjoy things. I’m assuming you don’t go out to dinner like this every week. One night of fun isn’t going to ruin your progress. The key is being consistent over time. So have some grace with yourself and forgive yourself.
