  1. I work from home and love to snack, so I build my day around small plates that help me hit my calorie target and macros. Thought I’d share. Always looking for new ideas.

    Not pictured:

45cal – 1/4 cup of skim milk (2x) for coffee

70cal – 18g of Honey Nut Cheerios. This is my first evening snack. No picture because, I mean it’s just cheerios.

100cal – small 100cal popcorn bag. Another evening snack and another boring picture so I spared you.

45cal – 2 Hershey kisses. Have to allow yourself sweets. One after my workout and one after dinner.

    150cal – Egg white bake

    160g egg whites

    40g diced potatoes

    40g diced spinach

    Salt/pepper

    Bake at 400 for 30mins

I usually put green cholula on top

    230cal – Overnight yogurt bowl

    112g non fat greek yogurt

    20g rice cereal

    15g oat fiber

    15g Walden farms syrup

    8g protein powder

    8g powdered nut butter

    1/4 skim milk

10g stevia or swerve brown sugar

Mix and leave overnight. I make this in 4 different flavor combos.

    85cal – egg white scramble – option 1

    120g egg whites

    40g diced bell pepper

Cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt/pepper, scoop salsa over the top.
Ok I know this one is ugly but they’re just microwaved eggs, and my photography is not professional.

    85cal – deli meat snack plate – option 2

    56g chicken deli meat

    40g carrots

    40g cherry tomatoes

    2 mini pickles

Simple, effective, and takes more than 2 mins to eat.

    60cal – tortilla “chips”

3 La Banderita carb counter street tacos

    Salt/chili limon popcorn seasoning

Couple sprays of 0cal spray to help the seasoning stick and into the toaster oven for about 5 mins

    150cal – strawberry smoothie

    100g frozen strawberries

    200g ice

    100g fat free greek yogurt

    15g vanilla protein powder

    15g oat fiber

    1/4 cup stevia

    15g Walden farms syrup

    30g water

I make this a little lower calorie with less strawberries and less yogurt of chicken days. A squeeze of 5cal chocolate syrup helps.

    165cal – pumpkin bowl

    25g Kodiak pancake mix

    15g vanilla protein powder

    15g oat fiber

    1/4 cup stevia

    10g swerve brown sugar

    40g pumpkin

    15g Walden farms syrup

    15g water

Mix all this up and microwave for 2 mins.

350cal – stir fry bowl (dinner)

    6oz (raw) chicken or shrimp

    85g broccoli

    85g carrot chips

    200g zucchini/squash

    50g onion

    120g cauliflower rice

I make this in about 5 different flavor combos, depending on the protein, but all additional flavors are “zero calories”.

    Sriracha/Walden farms syrup

    Sriracha/Walden farms syrup/lime juice

    Sambal/Walden farms syrup

    Sambal/Walden farms Asian dressing

    Sriracha/Walden farms Asian dressing/stevia

    85cal – veggie bowl

    85g cauliflower

    85g carrots

    50g cucumber

    50g cherry tomatoes

Little pepper and some Walden farms Italian dressing

    230cal – overnight yogurt bowl #2

I have 2 of these each day. For the dessert variation, I usually stick to vanilla flavors with about 4g of sprinkles tossed in.

This all adds up slightly below 1700 but I round up for some essentials I don’t measure like spices, sauces, rum, etc.

Also, if the container says zero calories, I don’t count it. I know nothing actually has zero, but I’m not using a whole cup of Sriracha or eating the whole jar of pickles so as far as I’m concerned, if it says zero, it’s zero.

Anyways that’s it. Hopefully it helps someone? Feel free to reach out if you have ideas or questions. Thanks all!

  2. I love to snack and eat smaller meals so this is awesome! Thanks for sharing, some great ideas here.

  3. This looks great-
Is the pumpkin bowl, after the strawberry smoothie, kind of like cookie dough or a a pumpkin brownie? It looks great!

  4. Thanks for sharing! I forgot Walden’s makes all those sauces, I will have to try! I love their walnut maple syrup!

  5. Do you purchase all of your Walden Farms products on Amazon? Or is there a more affordable way?

  6. Also curious to know what brand of protein you use? Thanks for all of these wonderful ideas!!

  7. I kow this is an old thread, but I commend and applaud everyone who measures each item they use as an ingredient. Let alone the meal portion as a whole. This is a great plan with detailed recipes and calorie breakdown. Thank you for this. I’ll be encorportating some of these into my daily rotation. Much appreciated!
