I love this stir fry sauce, but I cannot find a good recipe that tastes as good with as few calories (literally 100 calories per bottle.) My whole family prefers this sauce, but at almost $5 each, I'd like to find a recipe that can come even remotely close to its taste and calorie count.

What recipes do u enjoy with it
Here is the ingredients list:
Water, Tamari Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Alcohol), Modified Corn Starch, Cider Vinegar, Sesame Oil, Lime Juice Concentrate*, Onion Powder, Granulated Roasted Garlic, Xanthan Gum, Ground Ginger, Sucralose, Caramel Color, Natural Flavor.
The recipe is going to be pretty much the same no matter what, you simmer it on the stove top to thicken. The taste is on how much of this ingredients list you can pull together. It might take some trial and error to get it the way you want. For amounts, if you can’t eyeball it then refer to a similar recipe online.
It doesn’t need the xanthan gum if you don’t have it. My secret weapon to slightly thicken sauces (while adding fiber) is psyllium husk powder (but use some corn starch too).
In lieu of ‘natural flavor’ try a bit of chicken bouillon powder.
I have most of those things in my pantry and just happened to make something very similar tonight. The rest is in a big jar for future meals… so easy and cheap to make. Great with chicken breast and veggies.
good luck lmao
