Spontaneous father-daughter brunch, then a whole 10” pizza for dinner after snowboarding, plus apres beers. I was ravenous. Worth it!

Went to yoga in the morning, then was on the mountain for four hours… so hoping it cancels out a bit. Part of the journey for me is realizing that’s days like this are important and I can pick it up again in the morning.

  1. it’s a good habit to still track it!!! don’t worry, one day like this is just a bump in the road (: you got it!

  2. Sometimes I wish these apps wouldn’t make going over your daily target seem so negative. People aren’t robots. Instead of an angry red and showing 1,280 “over”, I’d like to see a more neutral expression.

Gotta still enjoy life! If you’re consistent with it a day here and there won’t make a difference in the long run ☺️

  4. It’s definitely a good idea to track it. Those macros are important. Maybe the calories were high but it’s also nice to see you got lots of other good nutrients as well! Lots of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals also were likely had. I agree with others the color scheme is a bit scare mongery with mynetdiary. Maybe they should use colors for an easy visual reference but not ones we associate with “bad” and “good” maybe neutral association colors like purple blue and pink or something.

  5. Depending on the intensity, skiing for 4 hours can burn anywhere between 1200 and 4000 calories. You ate more because your body burned more.

  7. We’ve all been there. I went to Benihana last night with my roommate and went way over but the yum yum sauce was worth it

I love your attitude about this. It’s important to live and enjoy life. One day is not going to ruin everything. 🙂
