  1. I did a bunch of research, including people that broke it down ingredient by ingredient. The range was 600-1000 so I’ll go with the average. Anyway this guy lost 100 pounds eating Neopolitan style pizza every day 😂 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6XR9eEFCMs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6XR9eEFCMs)

    Here are the stats: [https://imgur.com/a/Y7kozN6](https://imgur.com/a/Y7kozN6)

Breakfast: potato roll, half a beyond sausage, one egg (295 cal)

Lunch: Chinese broccoli with gochujang tofu and rice (314 cal)

Dinner: half of a beer, and a Neopolitan pizza (somewhere between 755 to 1155= ~955 cal)

  2. Is that punch pizza? Looks eerily similar and their pizzas are roughly 600kcal

  3. I think people assume pizzas are horrifically calorie dense because they’re thinking of like Pizza Hut/ Dominoes style pizza – huge, shit tonnes of bread and cheese.

A more Italian style pizza can be pretty reasonable (provided they don’t go HAM with an olive oil drizzle).

    OPs looks delicious!

  4. Yes it’s all about the dough! I made pizza yesterday and it was 765 calories. I used way more mozzarella because it’s my business but the dough really is the bulk of calories and the thinner the crust, the less calories.

  5. We have a tabletop pellet pizza oven (Ooni) and yes- I can EASILY work a half or sometimes a whole pizza into my day, depending on what I want to eat for the other meals (nursing mom so right now my goal is about 1800 and I feel better when it’s spread out over the day). If you go too heavy on the cheese and other toppings it just doesn’t launch well, so between that and the fact that you use semolina and not grease on the bottom of the crust they’re naturally lighter than a typical pan pizza.

Oh man one of my favorite pizza places has pizza just like that and I am always scared to eat more than half because I could see it either being a ton of calories or pretty lean!! ugh! xD

Nice work! The beer always screws me over. Pizza and beer is a godly combo.

Left hand brewing rules. If the milk stout wasn’t for you, they have other great brews.

  9. When I realized I could eat an entire Newman’s Own thin crust pizza when I got home from work (effectively do 20:4 fasting on work days) it was like the heavens opened up.

looks tight but I couldn’t shit after eating all this in one day. needs more dietary fiber

  11. A 12” thin pizza will use around an 8oz dough ball plus what my guess would be 3oz fresh mozz and very little sauce. 800 is pretty spot on. I own a pizza place so did some estimating.
