
So a while back I had double jaw surgery and wasn’t allowed to chew anything for 6 weeks, during that time I ate a lot oatmeal and this recipe was born. I switch up the amounts a little depending on how many calories I have left and how much protein I need, but here’s the basic one!
30g oats
water (I eyeball this so u just gotta get a feel for it!)
5g vanilla whey protein powder (I prefer casein but I ran out)
200g natural quark
30g frozen raspberries
20g oatly oat milk
salt and cardamom to taste, water
5-10g peanut butter (optional)
a food scale
instructions:
Add oats, water and salt to your favorite bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, microwave for 30 seconds and stir again. Add more salt and water if needed. Microwave for 30 more seconds. Mix in the protein powder and cardamom.
Microwave the raspberries until they get warm and mushy, about 45 seconds.
Add quark on top of the oatmeal, pour the raspberries on top of the quark. Add peanut butter.
Pour oatly on the oatmeal (not on the quark!!)
If you use my exact ingredients it’s 274 kcal and 26g protein WITHOUT the peanut butter!
