I’m going to try to find that because it looks AMAZING, but this is also super easy to make. Just makes 1 part rice for 10 parts broth and boil, and then use a whisk to break it up. Add whatever veggies you want (or boil them in, I do ginger and garlic) and then serve. Koreans call it jook or juk, and there are a lot of variants in Asia with many different names. Love this so much, especially with a hangover.

Congee!! Congee got me through my one and only bout of coronavirus, which unfortunately means I couldn’t eat it for a long time afterwards 😅 but it’s been almost two years, maybe I should try it again!

I make arroz caldo/rice porridge in my rice cooker (I have a porridge setting) quite a bit. It’s simple and tasty! I use ginger and garlic in mine. I’ve seen these at the Asian grocer and wondered if they were any good – nice to know they taste good. I’ll grab some to have on hand next time someone gets sick.

The question marks in the title are seriously throwing me off…are you asking if it’s good, or are you just unsure if it’s filling?
