Meredith Dairy Sheep & Goat cheese is fantastic. It was sampled with a plain salted crisp at the store I got it from. I liked that enough to buy it but curious what else I could have it with. If you’ve had it, what would you recommend?

I think it would great used in a salad, it kind of becomes a creamy dressing in a way, because of how soft the texture is. It’s probably excellent mixed into mashed potatoes, too!

I personally enjoy cheeses like this served with any cracker with some type of dried fruit in it (I really like this apricot/lemon/fig flavor by the brand Raincoast Crisps) because the sweet/salty/creamy combo really hits the spot for me! But I think this would be great paired with fresh crudités like asparsgus, carrots, radishes, etc.

  2. I recommend stirring all up into a spread & smearing on a baguette ❤️ apples and pears too!

I literally just picked this up at Costco after not seeing it there forever. It’s so good.

However you eat it, don’t let the oil go to waste. Use it for salads, drizzled over roasted veg, dip bread in it, etc.

  5. I make a big pot of Tuscan style white beans – cannellini beans, onions, herbs, garlic, etc. then I get a crusty loaf of bread and cut thick slices. Grill with butter, then serve the beans with bread and this cheese – an amazing meal!

  6. Was it Keith from the Try Guys who tried this and said it was like one of his favorite cheeses and a fan brought it to a meet and greet? He gave it him but Keith forgot it in the hotel fridge. Or was it someone else? Maybe I’m mixing up my para social relationships lol.

  7. this is my favorite cheese ever. i like it on a crostini with fig jam, pita chips, potatoes, spread on a bagel or sourdough, i’ve used it as the base for a pizza. the leftover oil i use for cooking, drizzled over some eggs or veggies, in a dressing, etc. honestly i could eat it with a spoon.

That cheese is absolute fire. When you get to the last little bits mix it up with the oil and dip bread in it of use it as dressing

  9. I typically dump it over fresh pasta, but am currently eating it with a spoon and a side of wheat thins.

  10. My friend who used to be the head cheesemaker at Green Dirt Farm and I call this “the crack cheese” lol. It’s SO GOOD.

I recommend dumping this onto hot pasta, oil and all. Smoosh the cheese all up and mix it all together, it’ll make a kind of white sauce. It’s top tits.

  11. My girl and I are obsessed with this shit! We eat it straight on sourdough bread, so good that way we’ve never had time to think about other uses lol. Saving this thread for more ideas

Woah, I didn’t realise this was available outside of Australia! That makes me proud. We travel to Meredith a few times a year, they also have an AMAZING chevre and an ash brie that is pretty freaking phenomenonal, too.

    Cranberry and goat cheese tarts!

Super easy, basically just boil cranberries (or use a tinned sauce), cut out circles off puff pastry, then assemble the three ingredients and put in the oven
