I made this falafel recipe and then made it into pita sandwiches with hummus and a homemade tzatziki yogurt sauce. The spices made it flavorful (though I don’t track spices in MyFitnessPal, so you’ll see a smaller item count than in the recipe)

It is a higher calorie meal, but it was so filling that I was able to skip my second snack all week and was not starving for dinner (6-8 hours later usually). I might have been able to even go longer without eating if needed. If anyone is looking for a filling meal (for pretty cheap, even), I highly recommend this recipe!

FYI: my vegan friend recommended using one can of garbanzos if your patties seem too crumbly, despite what the recipe says.
