Looks really good! But yeah that always sucks, especially if you’re cooking for a taller male partner or family member

This is unsolicited advice I know but do you have any smaller dinner plates? Your portion being on the same large plate as theirs with extra space makes it visually seem like less than if you had it on a plate that it filled. Sounds silly but I swear I’ve seen studies backing that up

  2. Broccoli isn’t that high in calories, you should try to fill the plate a bit more with that to help fill you up! Looks great other than that!

  3. Myplate method and fill half that plate with broccoli. Even if you have to cut a smidge of steak, the fiber and how filling it is is just so worth it

  4. I mean … it doesn’t seem that different. If the steak was cut up and spread out it would look bigger. Also all the bacon. Why so little broccoli?

  5. That’s still a lot. Like for me. I usually use the small salad plates or a bowl for my big dinner.

I sometimes just have half potato and veg and save my meat for a sandwich the next day.

I get upset if my meat disappears so I set it aside with my other half potato and broccoli in my Tupperware. Mine!

Absolutely no reason you are eating that tiny amount of broccoli. You could also have a lot more potatoes of you ditched the bacon.

It’s a good looking meal but the portions just look arranged differently.

Ditch the bacon for extra broccoli to feel more full.
