Hey all! I’m pretty new to this community and I would like to share this recipe with you guys.
I usually make it for breakfast but you can also have it for dinner alongside a bowl of rice or veg. It’s perfect for colder days or lazy mornings.
Here is my recipe for Chinese Steamed Eggs:
– Beat 2 eggs (120cal) until frothy and silk-like
– Add in 1/4 tbsp sesame oil (32.5 cal) and 2 tbsp soy sauce (30 cal)
– Add in 2 cups of warm/hot water and mix well.
– Steam mixture for 15-20 minutes OR use 1 – 1 1/2 cup water to steam.

When the mixture has a silken-tofu like consistency (firm but jiggly), it’s ready to eat. You can steam a bit longer for a denser texture.
You can add in anything you want to this as well!
Sometimes I will add in fish-balls or vegetables like scallions, mushroom or tomatoes.
I hope you all enjoy!! <3
