




I feel like I keep seeing more and more influencers like this popping up. I’ve attached a few examples, but basically the narrative is that when they were constantly working out, eating 1200 calories, trying diets, etc. they never saw results but then they started eating more and working out less and it came off. Obviously I’m oversimplifying it a bit, and I understand that some of it is about quality of nutrition, the effect of stress on the body, etc., but it seems almost unbelievable that these women achieve the results they do with this method.
I’m just wondering if there’s any truth to it? I’m also in a phase feeling like I’m stuck and not seeing progress, so just curious what people have to say
