I’ve started new meds (lexapro and zyban) a few days ago and today I really felt the effects of not wanting to eat. By the end of the day I was wayyy under my calorie and protein goal (was under by 511kcal and 63g of protein). I had a shower feeling defeated but realised I’m not gonna hit my goals if my body holds onto excess water or fat because I’m under eating. Got out and decided nah I’m making a yummy dessert to hit them. And here we are eating a yummy asf dessert pudding thingy with 71g of protein. Today I’m feeling really proud of myself for not just letting it go and for actually being determined to hit my goals (it was so worth it, it’s so yum lol)

Anyway here’s my breakdown for today

Water fasting until 12:00pm
Breakfast
1 medium Granny Smith apple
(95 cal / 0.5g protein)

Water until 1pm
Lunch
• Tuna Bowl
85g Ocean Rise yellowfin tuna in springwater
50g red radish
68g cucumber
37g English spinach
50g Farmers Union high protein Greek yogurt
37g baby pickles
Splash of Maggi liquid seasoning
(158 cal / 30g protein)

Water until 6:30pm
Dinner
• Veggie Side
174g raw zucchini
97g raw choy sum
79g baked sweet potato
(127 cal / 6g protein)

• Steak
194g raw scotch fillet, fat trimmed
(272 cal / 41g protein)

Here’s where I felt defeated and had a shower 10pm
Dessert to hit goals
• Super Pudding
100g Greek yogurt
66g chocolate protein powder
2 tsp Avalanche drinking chocolate
12 chocolate wafer sticks
(523 cal / 71g protein)
Froze it for about 20mins

Total: 1212 cal / 150g protein
Water: 4.73L (5 bottles)

just remember everyone's journey looks different. stay consistent and keep hitting those goals because showing up for yourself is the real win

Ps I know I could’ve picked a healthier option to fill the rest of my calories but yk what I’ve been so strict on myself I’ve earnt this. I’m only in half way through week two and lost 5kg in the first week (I know it was mostly water weight) but I’d like to have something sweet 🖤🖤
