Cocina Hermanos Torres is a 3 michelin starred restaurant in Barcelona, that is currently ranked 78th best in the world. My visit takes me to a daft 60/100 of the world’s ‘top 100’ restaurants visited, and thankfully, in the case of CHT, I can very much see why it’s in there.

The actually lay out of the menu and presentation of it I think is beautiful. There are absolutely myriad courses, so I’m not going to dive into them too much, but some highlights were an exceptional pork chop salad dish with the pork in various guises and textures, served with a broth spiked with aubergine; a very beautiful prawn and crab dish with a punchy chilli sauce; a mini tortilla, filled with onion liquid; and, by far the best dish, and insanely well cooked lobster dish in its own bisque with coral gnocchi and black truffle. Absolute food perfection.

The wines were great, the service was warm and you never felt rushed or like you were waiting around. Very good.
