Ingredients

• thick slices challah (day old is best)

• 3 eggs

• 3/4 cup whole milk

• splash heavy cream (optional but better)

• 1 tbsp sugar

• pinch salt & cinnamon

• 1 tsp vanilla

• butter for the pan

•  sugar for brûlée( I used turbinado)

• maple syrup / berries / whatever

  2. Glassy sugary topped french toast? Bacon that’s crispy in some areas and almost undercooked in others? Fresh berries? Hash browns? Scrambled eggs? Yeah, I would eat that.
