[I ate] Dinner in my military unit somewhere in Ukraine: mashed potato, boiled beetroot salad, and salted herring served with onion

May not look appetising to some, but as someone who’s nan was a Polish translator during the war and cooked up things like this – I’d smash it down quick. Full of protein and nutrients and it’ll fill ya belly good without unnecessary junk in the mix.

There are few things I love more than herring, so this looks dope.
