

So, I was working on my meal prep for the week and had some spare time so decided to weigh out the ingredients as I prepped each of my salad baggies. Context: Every day I have about a gallon bag of salad to help me meet fiber, micronutrient, and satiety goals. I split this up among multiple small meals (right now, I'm bulking, so 6 meals a day of 300 cals / 20 g protein/ 5 g fiber each). Just the veggies and "stable" fruits in my salad every day (no cheese, berries, crunch components, meat, beans, pickles veggies, dressing, etc) is apparently 350 calories! Even cutting out the fruits, it's 150 calories. Youch!!
