What did you think? What were your reservations? Was it different then you thought it would be?

Hindu sounds like a good friend!

Dunno what your religion has to do with anything. I don’t know what good can come from mentioning it. Potential to hurt some sensibilities perhaps.

Very nice. My sister in law is Hindu and absolutely refuses to have anything to do with cow meat.
So what’s the verdict? How’s how was it to finally try steak?

How big of an issue is a Hindu eating beef where you live?

Congratulations! I was a 39-40 when I made *my* first steak, though I’ve been eating steak since I was little so that’s just me being late to the cooking game. But as good as your Western-style steak looks, if you’re Indian, you have access to *so much more* flavor. You can get really creative with steak. I usually cut my steak into cubes and sear it, then I remove it from the pan, stir-fry some vegetables (with the fond from the steak), and add the cubes back in at the end to get it all mixed in the sauce, and I eat this with rice usually. I actually didn’t today; I made beef hearts with some Central American vegetables and broiled some eggplant, and I had some garlic ginger toast with some Thai chili crisp on top. But point is, you have lots and lots of options to make cool stuff with your steak. Good luck!
