I’m a college student and am trying to get into meal prepping/cooking, but I face two main problems.
1) Finding actually good recipes is hard:
* So, I use all of Hellofresh’s recipes since they are pretty ideal (designed for home cooks, healthy, etc), but on their website you can’t filter by what you want.
* On my website you can filter by ingredients you want to use, difficulty, prep time, cuisine, dietary restrictions, and a lot more.
2) Ingredient waste
* I would try out a good recipe, but one of the ingredients would be like chicken broth which I will have a lot left over and goes bad in a week. So I end up having to throw out the rest of the chicken broth
* I created an algorithm that recommends recipes with overlaps in perishable bulk ingredients (so something you can buy individually, like onions, don’t overlap but something like chicken broth would)
