I use a bit more tomato in my bolognese. I like to saute my onions and then garlic before anything else as well. Some fresh herbs will elevate your cooking with ease; basil, thyme, oregano. Even a little chopped parsley on top will greatly improve your dishes. Remember that people eat with their eyes, so the better it looks the better itll taste too. Congrats on starting your cooking journey. It isnt as hard as some make it to be. Thanks for sharing

looks really nice, great Job!! I add a little bit of red wine in my bolognese and cubes of cold butter to make a really nice sauce

Looks good! If you’re grating your own cheese, try a finer grate for some more melt. Bolognese is a good one to experiment with. I’ve tried star anise (single pod), hoisin sauce, chilli crisp, and they can all add some depth. If you haven’t yet, try a recipe that uses a little milk or cream. I’ll also replace any water in the recipe with stock, and use tallow mixed with butter for frying the onions/carrots/celery at the beginning.

Good Job! Some advice: you might want to keep pasta and sauce separate and only mix them on your plate. Otherwise the pasta will soak up the sauce and the whole dish ends up kinda dry. Especially relevant for leftovers

  5. Pro Tip: If you can still see the pasta on the plate, you haven’t used enough cheese.

    Otherwise, looks good.
