1tbsp nutritional yeast.Â
1 serrano, diced.Â
1 green pepper, diced.Â
1 yellow onion, diced.Â
6 cloves garlic / 1tbsp minced.Â
1tbsp double concentrate tomato paste.Â
1tbsp apple cider vinegar.Â
2tbsp yellow mustard.Â
1tbsp molasses.Â
2tbsp steak sauce.Â
3tbsp tamari.Â
15oz can tomato sauce.Â
1/4c water.Â
2tbsp ketchup.Â
1tsp msg.Â
1/2tsp cayenne.Â
Salt to taste.Â
Add peppers and onions to a hot, lightly oiled pan. Once a bit softened and browned, and garlic and TVP. After garlic becomes fragrant and golden, mix in seasonings, then the tomato paste, mustard, molasses, and steak sauce. Mix in well and add tamari and tomato sauce. Let cook for a few minutes longer and you should be good to go!
