Melt vegan butter and olive oil in a pan, line it with pita bread, mound parboiled rice on top, cover, cook on high for 10 minutes, then on low for 30 to 40 more. Invert onto a platter in front of your guests with larger-than-life pageantry. It will either have a glorious, crispy, golden crust or an inedible burnt disc. Life goes on 😁
