
On my last visit in the Philippines, I discovered this no food utensil concept restaurant in Baler, Philippines.
This is what I ate. Grilled pork belly with salted egg and fern salad with rice served in a banana leaf and you have to eat it using your hands. It has the perfect balance of flavors. This is so good, the grilled pork has a perfect charred flavor with a mix of sweetness due to its marinade. The salted egg combined with the fern salad is very refreshing and little bit sour due to the dressing.
I will definitely eat it again if I come back to the Philippines.
