
Made kimchi fried rice for 2 the other day and it was so yummy! 🍚🥳 I have also uploaded a cooking video on YouTube and Instagram @chillipadi_girl, if a video would be helpful. ☺️
INGREDIENTS FOR KIMCHI FRIED RICE FOR 2:
Rice – 1 cup of uncooked rice
Water – As required by the instructions on the rice packet
kimchi – 1 Cup (Chopped)
Gochujang – 2 tbsp
Sesame Oil – 2 tsp
Roasted sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
Shimeiji mushroom
Shredded seaweed
Vegetable oil (e.g. avocado oil)
RECIPE FOR KIMCHI FRIED RICE FOR 2:
- Cook rice and store overnight.
- Add vegetable oil then stir fry kimchi and mushrooms.
- Add the cooked overnight rice to the kimchi and mushrooms, then mix in Gochujang.
- In a separate pan, toast sesame seeds. There is no need to use oil.
- Add sesame oil, the toasted sesame seeds and the shredded seaweed to the kimchi fried rice.
