Ok – is there anyway to do this without an air fryer??? It looks amazing but my kitchen is small and cannot handle any more appliances.

Ohhh genius using the air fryer first! Probably does a great job of crisping while holding together.

I made this the other week and it was incredible, many thanks to you and Sarah for having some of the best vegan food content out there! I’ve never had a miss with SVK recipes. Trying out the “chicken” paprikash tonight 🙂

Pressing tofu is usually to remove water content to either change the texture, or allow absorption of something else in place of the water for flavour. Crisping it seals it up.
Isn’t the inside of it going to taste very plain?

Is it just me or does it not look like torn tofu at the end? Looks cut into rectangles. Is this a real video?
