Had a second-dinner (of the night…like a hobbit) at EMP last night. First time dining there. There hasn't been much recent info on the ala carte menu there so thought I'd share.

Duck was good as advertised. This incarnation featured marinated beets, beet relish/brunoise, some beet juice in the duck jus. Really awesome jus. The runners seem used to pouring only enough jus for the tasting portion. Ala carte size is double. Half way through , I asked for more jus. Kinda wish I had a small piece of bread to scrape it all up at the end.

Silken tofu had lots of umami + charred alium notes. The "curry" element was really light. Just faint hints of coriander and cardamom.

    Wait, since *when* did they bring meat back to the menu? I’ve been avoiding them like the plague but the best duck I ever had was there, at the bar. I lucked into dining there right after they reopened/won World’s Best and I received a stunning tour of their kitchen as well. I’ll never forget the level of hospitality they showed.

    Did you happen to snap a shot of the cocktail menu?
