EDIT: the 2/10 is the date (Feb-10 2026)

Highlights – they surprised me with flavors and textures I wasn’t expecting especially the Aji.

– Oysters and Pearls

– Shima Aji

– Quail

Least favorite. Still fantastic but less inspired and interesting.

– Lobster

First time and overall very impressive. Service was impeccable – well oiled machine.

I was a little disappointed with the wine pairing after talking to the Somm about what we generally like to drink. I’d get a bottle instead.

Nice writeup! Thank you for sharing your experience. This is something I’ve always wondered and never really asked: what temperature is the Oysters and Pearls served at?

Went there a week before you basically, dreamed of TFL but have to say I wasn’t blown away or anything. Everything is immaculate, two fish dishes fall flat for me tbh (one overcooked other not balanced). What am I missing about French laundry that people praise it so much 😅

  3. I went there for the first time about two months ago and also thought the somm did a pretty bad job. One of my friends who’s been there ~seven times said it was also his worst experience there. Overall I was pretty disappointed and have had much better experiences, even at a quarter the price.

  4. Thoroughly enjoyed my tasting menu there a couple years ago, but $160 supplemental fee for winter truffles 🤦🏻‍♂️🤔😂😂

  5. I have always said that if I was governor at the time I would have also risked a recall over dinner at TFL

  6. Does your partner not mind being ignored while you take pictures? I just can’t do it, feels really odd and rude

  7. I really don’t like this “or” business. It should be “and/or” for the gluttonous lol

This looks amazing. asked Amex concierge to book a seat for me and friends in April. Fingers crossed!
