Everything looks amazing. If you want you burger to stay the same size and not buckle at all, which it already looks like it wasn’t doing much, I go for 6 finger pokes around the outside and 1 in the middle. Using 5 then 2 fingers to make the dots. Works well and is pretty fast.

a lot of pro chefs say American cheese is best because of the melt but I’ll take cheddar any day for the flavor and if still melts just fine
