When I was a kid my Mum used to make these every year for Christmas, we used to call them Mums Christmas Chocolates, and it was world ending if she forgot. After she died 13 years ago I carried on making them, and giving them out to family. This year I learnt my Mum didn’t just make them up and they are a Canadian desert! She never went to Canada and I have no idea where the hell she found the recipies some time in the 80’s with no internet. I just have it scrawled on a bit of paper with no title. So Canada… how did I do?
