Not a big fan of American companies at this current point in time, but I shall try this once.

No. McDonald’s goes against absolutely everything ethical Canadian vegetarians are about. #elbowsup #bds #grossliars

It looks like the mcAloo Tikki patty from India, which I’ve seen and wanted, but never had.

McDonald’s is the enemy idc. Can’t even eat their fries.

I switched to A&W a long time ago. Way better quality, way more veggie options, and Canadian owned.

Too bad they’re American. Wrong time.

Wow, they removed that from the Dutch Mcdonalds menu in 2018, to replace it with a McPlant (a vegan “meat” burger, which they also stopped selling in favor of the vegetarian Mckroket) and 2-3 versions of a vegetarian crispy “chicken” burger.
I don’t know how the Canadian version will be, but the Dutch Mcveggie wasn’t all that great.
Too mushy and bland.

With all the options to make a Beyond Meat-esque burger, they had to go with one that looks like a bag of frozen mixed veg half blended into a patty.
Won’t be eating it regardless because McDonalds is unethical and American.

Exciting! I don’t eat a ton of fast food because the options are just so limited. But I do have a family and sometimes life gets busy and we get McDonald’s so it will be nice to finally have an option (that’s not a Big Mac without the burger patties)

I heard in B.C. When they were testing it at select locations they were cooked in the same fryer as the filet o fish, is this still the case?

We had these in Australia for a very short time. They were okay, but truly nothing to write home about.
