Hello! My family and I sometimes shop at Jerusalem Bakery for Arabic-specific foods, and I finally came across this whole grain pita bread (couldn't find it for forever). The nutrition label says it has (half a loaf/pita serving) 45 calories with 10 whole grams of protein (20% DV too!!) and then 14g carbs (9g dietary fiber).
I'm a little skeptical of this, and asking ChatGPT, it also agrees this is likely a mislabel and way too good to be true.
The only argument I have for the other side is that the label hasn't changed for as long as I can remember. If it was that inaccurate, wouldn't someone have called them out on these macros yet?
Please let me know if anyone has any insight/ information on this because I'm dying to know!
Thanks!
