Hello all. Long time lurker, but new to posting.
I've been following this sub for a while now, and I have always looked at the posts here, and thought, that's such a small amount of food. With no disrespect to the community here, I genuinely thought that limiting yourself to 1200 calories a day was crazy.
I have recently started a new weight loss journey backed up by daily exercise. I've also started to log all my calories I'm taking in for the day. All I have to say is that I apologise to the group for thinking the way that I did. Without trying, I am coming in well under 1500 calories, and unlike when I was eating what I wanted, when I wanted, I actually feel full. Seeing that bar only hit 1200-1300 calories is the best feeling I have had in a long time, and only 2 weeks in, I'm already seeing a difference. Not only in my waistline, but also in my energy levels.
Long story short, I wanted to say thank you to the community here. You have all proven to me that it is possible, and it is of great benefit to myself if I keep at this, and make myself the man I want to be.
Thank you!
