








Lazy, easy, comforting.
I was trying to figure out a diet-friendly swap for pie crust after discovering this Great Value no sugar added apple pie filling and nothing really hit until I tried it with a waffle.
One toasted Eggo protein waffle, one serving of apple pie filling, and a few spoonfuls of light vanilla ice cream. I also add cinnamon and a drizzle of sugar free maple syrup for negligible calories. Be sure to microwave the pie filling (and ideally chop up the apples into tiny chunks) to get the apples soft.
160 calories, 7g protein, 5g fiber.
(The picture shows a little less ice cream than the recipe because I was down to the bottom of my pint after eating these several days in a row)
