
If you're anything like me then you struggle not to drink some kind of sugary drink throughout the day, especially when you come inside drenched in sweat from a hot day. Juice is delicious and quenches your thirst, but it's so high in calories! Diet soda hits the sugary spot but can leave you feeling more thirsty than before; Gatorade is hydrating but a lot of times I just find it too salty to really enjoy gulping down.
Enter agua fresca; at only 40 calories a glass I can greedily gulp it down on a hot day and feel refreshed without any guilt! There are so many varieties too, any fruit you can think of and you can adjust the sweetener to your taste/calorie desires. All you do essentially is blend up your fruit with some sweetener and water, strain it into a container and water it down some more.
"Why would I drink watery fruit?" I hear you say, "That doesn't sound very pleasant." I know but trust me. TRUST ME. When you've finished doing yard work or exercising or you're just plain HOT it is like nectar of the gods
