
i wanted to make a rice & chicken bowl for dinner today so i made up the rice yesterday, stuck it in the fridge for today. so i looked up the rice on LoseIt, it says 2.5 ounces is 250 cal. i put the rice in my 1.5 cup & it comes out to 3.7 ounces which was 370 calories? how in the world could 1 cup prepared be 300cal, when half the cup is 370?😠i did not heat it up before weighing, could that factor in? i’ve never made rice before so i’ve never had to factor it in to my calories. am i understanding this wrong?
