I am close to losing my mind. For the past 4 weeks I have been on my weight loss journey and I have been eating around 12-1300 calories every day. I know that I have not miscalculated my intake as this is my third time doing this and I weigh every single thing I eat. I only drink water or zero-calorie options. During these weeks I have lost around 1.8 kg (4lbs), which is normal. But! I’m stuck around 79.1kg – 79.9 and have been for three weeks.
After two weeks I weighed in at 79.2, and had therefore lost 1,8 kg. Today, two weeks later I weigh in at the same 79.2. There is absolutely no way that I have been eating at my maintenance these two weeks but I have been drinking psyllium husk that my doctor recommended due to some stomach issues. Since psyllium absorbs water and swells in the stomach – could this affect the results on the scale? I have been increasing my exercise these past four weeks as well, which I understand can cause water retention. But I am becoming really discouraged due to not seeing any results.
I’ll post a picture of my weigh-ins for the past weeks.
