
I’m in India, and just recently learnt how to make ‘Idly’. Each of these are around 50 calories. I had 7 of them today.
They’re made out of a batter of fermented rice and lentils. These are great for your gut bacteria and extremely low calorie. I make a big batch of batter and refrigerate for the week.
Takes only 12 minutes to prepare by steaming. And it keeps me full for a good 6-7 hours.
I made a coconut, peanut, garlic, and red pepper chutney/dressing to go with it.
Had a strong coffee without sugar.
