I’m nervous to make this post because I feel very vulnerable talking about my eating habits, but here goes. My (5’6″ 118lbs) first time eating over 1200 calories since I started tracking my food about a month ago, I’m so proud of myself!

I recently went to my doctor because I have a very low appetite and can barely eat more than ~700 cal a day (not because of an eating disorder, I cannot stress that enough). She said that if I do not force myself to eat more, I will waste away. It was so hard to make myself eat that much, but I pulled through!

I don’t want this to come across as bragging or complaining about a non-issue, a healthy appetite is what people should strive for, not a minimal one like mine. My low appetite causes me to constantly feel faint and dizzy, I have no energy, and my mood is all over the place, among other issues. This is not preferable.
