I bought this blue Jay cheese from deep creek in Wisconsin at fresh market today and it had a sell by date of June 20. Can someone help explain what happened here? I googled pictures of what it’s supposed to look like and it’s definitely not this. Certainly doesn’t look safe to eat and will be returning tomorrow but just wondering if anyone could help explain how this happened ?
