So today I went a little off track and started eating some chips as well as pasta that were lying around. It started turning into mindless snacking, slowly starting to become a binge session. Luckily I managed to stop myself after “only” 700 calories.

Now at this point I was very tempted to just give up on today and eat whatever I wanted, since I anyways already ate half of my daily calories. But instead I decided to still make the best of the day, try to make up for the wasted calories in my other meals and still hit my protein goal (120g).

As you can see by the end of today I’ve went over my calorie goal only by 33 calories (which is negligible) so I am really proud of myself for handling it this way.

Sure, the meals today weren’t as fun as other days, but it is what it is.

Anyways, I hope this inspired anyone else out there that still has to go through binge sessions (big or small) or mindless snacking.
Try to stop yourself no matter how bad it is so far and just do your best for the rest of the day. It is still possible to stay on track!
